As a theory lecturer you will be expected to (1) submit a contribution to the course syllabus (min 8-10 pages, incl figures and references; deadline: 15/06/2010) and (2) give a powerpoint presentation (min duration 1h30). Lecturers are expected to be present at the Summer School for the full day during which they present their topic, to allow time for informal discussions. Duration: 3 days (arrival, class, departure)

As a field researcher: you will be expected to (1) submit a contribution to the practical course syllabus (min. 5 pages inl figures and references; deadline 15/06/2010) and (2) conduct field/lab work with small groups of students. Please forward the ereference of the identification key you wish to use suring the Summer School so that we can provide this key to students. Please note that some of the sites will be located in moutainous terrain and rough ground. you should take the necessary precaustions with regard to walking gear and have an adequate physical condition. Duration: min. 5 days (arrival, 3 days field work, departure)

The language of the syllabus is English and all classes will be given in English.
